Daniel Rodriguez-Clark has been teaching Mathematics in classrooms for over 10 years. This includes substantial experience teaching different IB courses, first in an international school in Lima, Peru, and more recently in an IB World School in Oxfordshire, UK.

Daniel set up the successful Interactive Maths website in 2012 with an aim of sharing interactive resources to help students learn mathematics. Over the years this has grown into other affiliated websites. Now he has begun the process of turning his successful classroom teaching experience in the IB into a series of online courses, so students from around the world can benefit from his experience.

Course FAQ

  • The course is taught by exploring each individual skill needed for the investigation. Each of the these skills is explained and then examples are given. There are plenty of chances to practice, including many activities that create examples using random numbers giving you ‘infinite’ practice.

  • The course is structured into broad sections covering the different aspects of the investigation, including a full worked example and full practice investigation with full answers to check afterwards. All answers are hidden and can be revealed only when you are ready to check your work.

  • There is no one size fits all answer to this question. But the investigation is worth 30% of the final eAssessment score, so you should be practicing this as much as you need to in order to get it right!
